Help...please...?
Question:
*Note: I usually get sore muscles from dancing, including shins and calves, but this is the first time I have had a problem with this area and it's the first time I have felt this pain before.
Answers:
It sounds like it could be a stress fracture, especially with the amount of dancing you do. Ice it repeatedly tonight (20 min on/20 off). You will need to go to your local walk-in clinic for an x-ray to confirm. The more you can ice it before hand, the clearer the x-ray will be. Ay swelling will cloud the film, and make a diagnosis difficult.
Good luck
PS-If it's on the top of your ankle, then it is not a heel spur, plantar fascitis, or achillis tendonitis. It could be a sprain that is getting worse because you are not supporting it to heal. See your doctor, get an x-ray.
i sometimes get that too (but from running) i would say give it another week or two and if it keeps going on tell your doctor
dont't disregard it.
REST.maybe soack under HOT water..BUT THAT MIGHT be WORSE...so maybe an ICE PACK.
I DEFINITELY SUGGEST you to go to a DOCTOR
OR
even better..
an ACUPUNCTURE GUY!..where they stick needles (dont worry...they are PAINLESS)...those things relieve tension...pain...crap...
and pray
You may be talking heel spur from continuous bouncing up and down, achilles tendon strain from exploding up onto your balls of feet, or plantar fascitis from tensing the bottom of your foot. A physical therapist can provide you stretching exercises or strengthing if that is the culprit. For acute pain ice when done your workouts, in the long run and if muscle spasms..then heat with massage will relax the muscles. Talk to your doctor and ask for a perscription for PT you will be glad you did...good luck!
u should have to go to doctor. & x-ray ur foot ok so....
There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
If your age is less and you don't exercise your muscles will have less power naturally. Hence you should avoid stressing them till they get sore.
Massage, REST and heating pads will help.
Rest them till you recover and then start slowly.
