What should i use for my burn??

Question:
i was making a sculpture and i used a hot glue gun and burned my selfe quit a ew times but one bad burn is still on my finger and its turning black brown and purple. what should i do so it wont hurt, wont leave a scar, and heal faster??

Answers:
You should have immerse your affected part in a cool water for 5-10 minutes or until the pain subsides. To stop the burning process.

Avoid pricking the blisters as it will lead to infection and promote scarring. Try using topical antibiotic to lessen the scarring.

Cheers. . .
Put something like neosporin on the finger then keep it covered with a bandaid so that it wont get infected. Change the bandaid and put new neosportin on it when it gets dirty or starts to fall off. Thats the best way to keep it from scarring, but it sounds like its a pretty bad burn so it may scar a little anyway. If it hurts put some ice on it, or take tylenol to feel better. Depending on how bad the burn is, it could take up to 3 weeks to get better.
If you ever burn yourself again, run the burn under cold water as fast as you can. This will minimize the damage done and hopefully keep it from scarring and getting as bad as this burn did.
Dont listen to your dad.Place your burn under cool running water for 20 mintues.Thed bandage with a non stick dressing.
There is a lidocain spray that has aloe in it that works very well at healing and relieving the pain. It comes in an aerosol can. Tylenol or ibuprofen around the clock too helps.
