Can you request Adderall for a study aid?

I am taking my GED test in October. My dad has a prescription for Adderall XR. I took it, without his permission to see if it would help me concentrate and study better. AND IT WORKED. I didn't take it to get high, just to help my concentration. Can I go to his doctor and request it to help me study because it really works I just don't want to keep taking my dads stash because he has ADD and needs it.

No you cannot do this and you cannot steal from your dad ever. He is going to be short pills and when he tries to renew his prescription they will tell him it is too soon for a refill and won't refill it for him. If you don't have ADD or ADHD you cannot just ask for script for it.

Adderall is not something to be taken on and off when it suits you. If you did get some concentration help with it, then you need to ask your doctor to test you for ADD. Perhaps you need to take it every day. Adderall is powerful. You know this, but I'm going to tell you this anyway: You should not have taken your fathers medication. Please see a doctor before taking any more.
