Should i go to the doctor?

Question:
I am pretty sure I have swimmer's ear. I have muffled hearing, and pain when i press on the hole in my ear. I just came back from the beach and I'm almost positive I got water in my left ear. I dont think I got it out. My mom bought the drops that you use for swimmer's ear. If I use those do you think I should still go to the doctor?

Answers:
If the drops work, you're probably fine. If they don't and you keep having these problems, yes, go to your family doc!
Yes, better safe than sorry I always say.
GO NOW! RUN!
THIS COULD BE DEATHLY!
Yes right away. An ear infection can distrupt yu whole health status and coud also lead to complications and effect your imune system and worse yet could be fatal.

Use the drops and see how you feel after a day. If you still feel the same, yes definitely, go see your doctor.
Well you need to wait and see. What you can do is lay on the opposite side and pour alcohol in your ear and then put a cotton ball in it and wait for about ten Minutes then take the ball out and lean your head over a towel... that should do it... but if all else fails, go to the doctor, you don't want to develop a middle ear infection... Good Luck!
Not yet sometimes you just need time. Use the dropps though I get it all the time.
If it persists then go to the doctor.. lay on that side to help it drain... and a couple of drops of alcohol will help dry it up ...
Use the drops for 2 days. If this doesn't clear or if you develop a fever or severe pain, then see your doctor for a possible ear infection. Good health.
You could also try jumping up and down with your head cocked towards the side with the problem. If the drops don“t work you will have to go and get your ears checked.
Read the directions on the side of the box, and see what is says...it may say if problem continues after a certain number of days to go see your doctor.
Use the Drops that your Mom got for Swimmers' ear, and stop poking your ear !

If this happens each time you swim, then a Doctor would have you using dops, also. ( as long as it goes away in a short time, then there probably is no other problem - let your Mom decide if she thinks you should have a Dr look at your ears.)

Have you tried using ear plugs when swimming ?
This might be a good thing to try.
You should most certainly go to the doctor's office. Your ear could probably become infected and your hearing could become muffled permanently.
Doctors are worth NOTHING, they patronize you, intimidate you, ignore you, insult you and charge you bills through the roof for their insolence and arrogance. They span their expertise over countless consultations just to charge more bills. Doctors judge you instead of helping you. Doctors are contemptful.

I HATE doctors, they are the slimiest lowest life form on this planet. They have NO compassion, no professionalism, they want to own you.

Doctors don't care, in fact I'm pretty much sure they hate us all with a passion.

Life would be better if Doctors would have to earn a living like the rest of us and have to respect their customers in order to bring food on their table.

Doctors really need to get their dicks shortened and their heads deflated.
no its just an ear infection duh
If the drops work, then there's no reason to go to the doctor. You might also try a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and rubbing alcohol dropped into the ear (make sure it's reasonably close to body temperature before using it). If neither of those work, then it might be a good idea to go to see your doctor, just to be checked out.
Try similisan drops for the pain and when you shower take a cotton ball and dip it in vaseline before putting it in your ear i know it is kinda gross but that is what my doctor told me to do when i had swimmers ear
