Are vaccines causing autism in children?

Question:
I've been hearing that the increase in the number of vaccinations since 1975 could be what's causing the explosion of autism, and even some learning disabilities we've been seeing in children. Can anyone share research of this?

Answers:
There are stories of autistic like behaviors dating back to the 1700's. There are also children who never had vaccines who have autism.

Both of my children are on the spectrum, not "caused" by vaccines. Their brains are wired a little different. Or are neurotypicals the ones with the issues?

they don't really know. Vaccines are the one thing that all or most kids have in common so the "professionals" have decided this is the common link and that of course has to be the reason for Autism.

The reality of the entire thing is we now have words for such disorders (for lack of other words). Remember, maybe you are too young to remember, there was a time when such folks were put into institutions and hidden from society. Now we don't do that we do our best to give them the life everyone is entitled to.

My neice is Autistic, mentally challenged, with a host of other ailments. We love her for who she is not what labels the medical pros have slapped on her. How did she become autistic? we don't know...but our worry now is her future and that she stay health.
