Hi, I suffer from very bad posture as a result of years of sporting activities.?

Question:
It is not causing me any back or shoulder pain tho but i would like to try and sort it. I have been searching the net for some sort of brace to straighten my posture, however there are loads of different ones. Has anyone used something like this before or can anyone recommend a product?

Answers:
I wonder what sports would do that to you except mabe Snooker / Billiards. I often noticed how stooped some players are.. I was stooped when I was younger but because people use to remind me of it I made a consious effort to walk with a better posture and I no longer have a stoop... I dont believe there is any Gadget that would help but you should make an effort to srtaighten your self up, Im sure yoga would benifit someone like yourself..
Not sure how much a brace would help. But being consious of your posture, and trying to correct it, plus finding some suitable stretches and exercises to help. Both yoga and pilates would be worth considering, and also Rolfing, which is to due with re-aligning you through deep massage. Also maybe a visit to an osteopath will be able to check your current posture, and suggest suitable exercise to help correct it. (A qualified rolfer could so this too).
a chiropractor may be able to help
