I keep getting pains in my upper right back and sometimes chest?

Question:
For about 2 months I've been getting these really bad intermittent pains in my back. The pain is on the right side and kind of right under my shoulder blade. It also sometimes travels to my chest. Anyone experienced this and got answers?

Answers:
It could be a number of things really, but the first thing I always think is a pinched nerve in your spinal column

Check the above site for symptoms of Gall Bladder, your symptoms are right on. I would consult a Doctor
you are lifting something or have done so in the past a whle back and its now bothering you. that is what it is
are you eating good? sometimes the acids in your belly can cause this. do you exercise? walk alot. maybe go get it checked out.
This happened to me. It started out with a herniated disc, which ended up compressing the nerve causing pain to generate from my back and to my chest. It would be in the thoracic area. Just under the shoulder. The pain will come and go depending on your activities. I ignored it when it got worse and ended up have surgery. Once the nerve is pinched, the only thing that can be done is therapy which stretches you in such a way, that the nerve may be released. If you wait to long, you will end up like me. I had the surgery several years ago and now I have 5 more herniated discs. I live with pain every day, but I will never have that surgery again. You need to see a Neurologist or an Orthopedic MD, and if thinks you have a pinched nerve, then he will order and MRI or cat scan, and your next step will be the Neurologist. Just do it and don't wait like I did. You are only starting with this, but it probably happened long ago from some physical activity. Sometimes it takes years to manifest itself. I hope you feel better. Don't rule out other things though, this is only one of some other problems it could be. Good health to you
Sounds like gas or indigestion. You may want to try some of the over the counter gas relievers to see if that clears up anything for you, if not, then you may want to check it out with your doctor.
I have been getting this type of pain with exercise - I don't worry about it - if it is too bothersome, try fish oils and garlic pills.
