Question about hydrocodone?

It's more like 30-45 minutes. Never wait until you are in pain. You may also need to eat something to keep from getting nauseous, but it will take a little longer to kick in... And from personal experience after surgery...If you think you will be on these a while you better start taking a stool softener a couple of times a day or you will be ripped in two after about a week. I can't be anymore sincere than that. It will be like passing a soup can of concrete...I swear!!!
i would say about 20 minutes...
It should kick in quickly...like in less than an hr. A lot depends on your weight, food in your stomach, and past history of narcotic use.
drink two beers now
Depends on the strength of it and your body size, but ususally withing thirty min.
I love hydrocodone. Take a few more and you'll be just fine.
10-20 minutes
anywhere from 20-30 min, if you've just eaten it can take longer, if you have a high tolerance, it can take longer, what is the dosage? 5mg, 7.5 or 10mg? your weight can also affect how quickly it will work. if your pain is severe and you've not had anything to eat and it's not working within an hour I would be on the phone to the doctor and getting something stronger. if you aren't allergic, it is likely safe to take some motrin (ibuprofen) with the hydrocodone but not tylenol. to help it work faster.
I was on that stuff as well and it worked fine. Usually in a half hour the pain should be almost none existent.
It should only take about 20 minutes to absorb in the body. If you don't feel it by 30 minutes or so, do not take more. Hydrocodeine is not something you should mess around with. This is some high intensity pain killers. Of course, you already knew that.
