First you need to get athletic tape. Then wrap a couple of loops around your foot close to were your toes meet your foot. Then run 2 pieces of tape lenghtwise from the tape on your foot, over your big toe from the top where the nail is to the bottom of the big toe and meet the tape around your foot on the sole of your foot. Make sure its tight so that you cannot move your big toe up. Then you have to repeat the loops around your foot so that the tape around your toe stays put. That is the most simple way to do it. Don't wrap it.apply ice to it whenever possible, and then get some rigid soled shoes that you can put a plate in the top of the shoe that prevents toe movement...a foot doctor can fit you for one.
