Answers:
Collagen surrounds each one of the approximately 60-80 trillion cells in the human body. Collagen makes up the bones, connective tissues, ligaments, muscles, organs, eyes, skin, etc. Due to a missing liver enzyme the body no longer has the ability to transform blood glucose or blood sugar into "ascorbates" which give the body the ability to repair, rebuild and re-manufacture collagen. Ascorbates are often referred to collectively as Vitamin C, even thought there are numerous forms of Vitamin C such as Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium etc.

Ascorbates also act as oxygen transports, free radical scavengers, and antioxidants in the body. In my researched opinion there is nothing that better stimulates the body's own immune system like mineral ascorbates.

The bottom line here is that your body is in need of these ascorbates to facilitate tissue and cell repair.

The following websites will serve to give you more information with regard to ascorbates;

Stay away from hip hop dancing for a year. Your knees and your body is more important. Take care of yourself. Over use leads to serious damage, which is sometimes permanent.
