Definition of death?
Question:
Answers:
I think that even "Medically" speaking; that the human body is as a mechanism or machine if you will. Though fearfully and wonderfully made. In that since the heart is the "pump" of the body and the "brain" is the controller of the body. If you separate any of the rest of the components, while hindering the optimal function of the body, it still functions.
If the pump stops it can be re-started, this is true. If the controller is faulty, it very carefully needs to be "changed out" for a better one.---But what is the standard and who has the right to set the standard of that quality of life?----
If the pump and the controller get separated, then the mechanism ceases to function.
Have there been any recorded instances of this being successfully accomplished?
because god says so, basically. remember the brain and the heart are the 2 most vital organs of the human body.
I would think when the heart stops beaing and there is no alternative means to restart it and keep it working, the person is dead.I don't think brain inactitity is a call for death. this may pose far more questions on the legalty for taking one off life support when the heart is functioning perfectly, but the brain is inactive.
