Broken collar bone...sports.?

Question:
i broke my collar bone about a week ago, and i went to the doctor and said ill be moving my arm in 2 weeks if it goes well, and 6 weeks to play sports again. i have football season coming up and im afraid if i go to soon ill break it worse, and i defiantly don't wanna miss the season, even tho it's sophomore year, what shouldd i do

Answers:
Just give yourself extra padding in that location, but certainly don;t baby it
Chill out let it heal the proper time so it wont interfere with the rest of the season.
you should go back just about when it's time for it to be healed and ask your doctor if it's okay to play.
my friend broke his collar bone when he fell and then was riding a bull and was throw off from it and broke his collar bone and after it healed he got back on the bull and got thrown off and broke it again. so you have a good chance of breaking it again hopefully not in the same spot. but i would still wait a while. the longer the better.
hope this helped.

Yes you will have to wait 6 weeks for a collar bone to heal. I had my left collar bone broken when I was 11 years old. As well as that is my writing and predomanant arm as well.
Dude i have had many injuries and i still went with it cause i love sports (mainly lacrosse). Thats the question u need to answer urself. Do u love sports? If u do then u would go straight back. Plus a broken collar bone is not a athletic career ender. U should be 100% in no time.
