Best ways to numb your lip before you pierce it?

Get it done professionally. That's all that I can really say. When you get things pierced, they don't numb it.
I'm fifteen, and I had a thick needle go through my nose and my lip. Just get it over with and go to a tattoo and piercing place, because if it gets infected, then it wouldn't be worth it.
Put some topical anaesthetic on your lip, the kind you put on your gums works, I forget brand names just look up what I said. Or get a proffesional to do it they numb it before doing it if you ask.
Most places will not numb it before they peirce it. Are you doing it at home? If you are then you should'nt. Its not safe. I guess if you are going to anyways, you might as well numb it with ice..
put an ice cube on both sides and let it sit there for about 7 mins if u can deal with the cold for that long..then u can pierce it and wont feel a thing until the feeling comes back
Rub a icecube on it.
Advil or Tylenol, these are over-the-counter pain killers. Also try putting ice on it before -- this will get you used to an uncomfortable feeling so it won't come as such a shock.
