Question:
The weird thing is that my wife and i are suffering from this and the symptoms seem to be the same but worse for her.the pain is in our upper back underneath our wing and it radiates through our chest and at certain positions laying down the pain feels worse also hard to take deep breaths as our left lung hurts when we do that... ive tried to do research but without much luck and i want to find out something before i go to the dr. has anybody had this problem?

Possibly something in the air in your home hurting your lungs? That's the only thing I can think of you both getting. Carbon monoxide maybe?
It sounds to me like an upper respitory infection look up pnuemonia . because one of the symptom is sharp stabbing chest pain .
acidity can be a reason. Please check with your doctor
