Its fine to put it on your lips. It probably wont taste too great but being on your lips you wont really get any in your mouth etc but if you got a tiny bit it wouldnt hurt you just dont constantly lick your lips or anything.
Another product that is great for sore or dry lips is a lip blam stick called CHAP STICK. Its really good stuff. If I ever have dry lips its solves them right away.
Id get some of that. Ive never found vaseline works very well anyway.

yeah, it shouldn't hurt you. i wouldn't eat lots of it, but a bit won't bother you.
