Not sure if I cracked a bone or bruised it?

Question:
I did a front flip on my friend's bed last night and hit the side of my foot on her headboard. My friend claims he heard something pop or crack. It hurt REALLY bad. But afterwards it just became dull pain. I can walk on it but its painful. I'm pretty sure its not broken. Maybe spained? Theres a huge bruise on it too so I can't tell if its just the bruise or the bone. But if it was just a bruise, it wouldn't hurt when I walk on it right? And also, when I moved my pinky toe, it hurts. Can someone help me please?

Answers:
Yep, you need an x-ray to see if there's a fracture. Call your doctor or head to the emergency room.
go see doctor!!
you spained it go to the doc before somthing really go's bad
Go to the hospital so they can take a x-ray and find out if it is cracked or bruised..that is the only way you are going to find out..
You probably cracked a bone. I would see a dr and have them xray it to see if you broke anything.
Everybody said the samething go to the Doctor.
a couple of years ago I had whats called a spontaneous fracture (in my left foot). Thats when you don't really know how it happened it just started hurting. I finally went to the dr weeks later and had to see a podiatrist before I finally was diagnosed witha fracture (break). If it's bruised and hurts to walk then it will be beneficial to find out the exact problem or it could cause permanent damage. I still have pain with mine because I waited too long. See a foot Dr.
