Sudden sharp sting?

Question:

I was walking in the park when my arm began to sting like crasy and when i looked at it there was a circular cut that formed a lump under it. was this a bug?, no bees because i cant see the stinger, so what was going on?

Kinda weird that it hurt so bad, but you didn't get a look at the monster that bit you. Had to be something that moves fast.

There are lots of biting critters on the wing. If you have swelling at the site, you're having an allergic reaction to the bite. An excellent home remedy is meat tenderizer made into a paste with water and applied to the site. It works because most bug toxins are protein-based and meat tenderizer breaks down protein.

Not all Bees nor all species of Bees leave the stinger engaged.

Sounds like you got stung by hornet! They tend to hit and run on the fly... Try a baking soda poltice to keep the swelling down and relieve pain . Also, worchestershire sauce will also help...
