Having 6 teeth removed at once and yes by a oral surgeon .. I came out of the anestigia 3 times because the pain was so bad and after it I was crying from the pain (never done it before even after 4 kids of natural nothing for pain births and yes there is a ring of fire) and I would never wish that amount of pain on anyone at once.
i broke my arm in a fall 4 years ago it was soo painful. yes i fear child birth!!
Kidney stones. Worse than having a baby.
I do not wish to experience that again so I do not think about it. I do not worry.
Sigh...A broken heart and I fear it will happen again.
Being in labour with my son for 5 days!! His head was stuck in my pelvis. I was having contractions every five minutes and the Dr's and midwives told me I wasn't in labour. Could not imagine going through this again. Having a broken ankle, leg and crushed foot at 15 was bad enough.
I had a knee replaced 3 months ago, worse pain I ever had for the first two weeks
having my bike pedals digging into my leg after failing to bunnny hop. hahaha yeah, simple trick. but my feet would slip off the pedal. my pedals have little metal pegs on them for more grip, and pain :]
Andrew, over the years of my lifetime, I have experienced
many different types of physical pain..and I am certain that
while experiencing varying pain in the acute stage...each situation felt pretty bad.
When we go through pain, the suffering is bad enough, right?
However, there is also that sense of being out of control...we
cannot stop the pain and are uncertain if or when it will stop
itself or if or when someone will intercede to stop it for us. The emotions that attend a painful experience adds to our sense of pain, wouldn't you agree?
Honestly Andrew, I would say that the pain I suffer daily now from an illness I have is the worst I have ever had to endure. I do not, however, fear that something worse will happen someday,
do you, Andrew?
I have a feeling that your question has something to do with your experience with pain.
I believe that each event in our lives teaches us as well as prepares us for any events to follow.
Therefore, since I have survived painful experiences, I know
I am strong enough to do so, and can survive again if I must.
My faith, my belief in God, helps me a great deal.
I do not choose to live in fear, Andrew. There is so much
to enjoy in life, to focus our energy and thoughts on---why
waste it on needless worry?
If you or I worry about what tomorrow will bring, if something
worse will come along---we are already suffering because
of our thinking, fearing, worrying. Far better to lay that
fear aside and find someone who can use our help or discover something beautiful to create or enjoy...you have gifts to share with this world, Andrew.please do so and do
not allow fear to drain your energy away..make the choice
to use your energy wisely and positively---lift the spirits
and lives of those around you..help others who suffer, whether physically, emotionally, spiritually, or mentally.
learn to pour yourself into artistic, creative , loving endeavors..And before you know it, those fears will be gone!
I wish you all the best, Andrew.
