Multiple "spider" bites?

Question:
I was at an outdoor dinner four days ago and we ate in the evening next to an inground pool. I used bug spray on my arms, but I have at least two bites on my arm (blotchy-red with two bite marks).
My feet were completely eaten up! While both feet have about equal bites, only my right foot became swollen. The first day it was just my ankle. The second and third days, my whole foot. My foot and lower leg feel slightly numb and stiff.

I can't tell if the bites on my feet are from spiders, but the marks are very large, blotchy and purple-ish red.

The swelling has gone down considerably, and I've been taking antihistamines.

Anyone know what bit me? Should I get medical help?

Answers:
Usually with spider bites/snake bites or any other "bug" that has caustic venoms, swelling and numbness mask the tissue degredation that are going on beneath the surface.

If you have swelling such as this from any bite, EVER, you should go to the doctor immediately. You could be having an anaphylactic respose, or worse, your tissues are necrosing, your foot will turn purple, then black, and it will be cut off by a doctor anyway! So go see one before that happens!
Just to be on the safe side I would go to the doctors. You can never be too sure. Hope you feel better! Good luck!
medical help
of course
unless you want to lose a foot
spiders bites are not something to wait for
really if you dont know which kind spider
OH MY GOD it sounds to me like it was either infected or your highly allergic, if I were you I would get my butt to the doctor!! be careful!
ALWAYS GET MEDICAL HELP !!!

Better to ask an expert !!!
yes....i can't spell it but i can tell you this they stuck your blood out
YOU NEED TO GO TO THE ER! There is a thing called MRSA that look like spider bites, but are not. GO!
You should definitely see a doctor. It sounds as if you may have cellulitis (an infection of the skin). You could need antibiotics. They may not be spider bites, but mosquito bites that you have scratched until it caused an infection.
You sound as though you are having an allergic reaction to the bites. Generally spider bites have the two holes mark, and you can tell it's a spider as opposed to something like an ant bite, by those two holes. With the symptoms you described, you should get to the emergency room immediately. You can take 2 Benadryl in the meantime, but you really need to get seen as soon as possible.
