Blister-type thing under big toe? PLEASE HELP! Ü?

Question:
One day i noticed that the inner side of my big toe was hurting a little so i looked at it and in the crease (for lack of a better word) of my toe there was something that looked like a blister? So i soaked it in warm water with epson salt (to reduce inflamation), then sort of squeezed it and some puss came out. After that i put peroxide on it, and band-aid.

Soo...did i do the right thing for it? And if so, is it possible that my nail could fall off? Or is there something else i should do? ah...please help!

Answers:
If this continues, you could possibly have an in-grown toenail. They are pretty typical and can be painful. If this continues, go to the doctor where they will inject the toe and make it numb and then cut out half of the nail. It will grow back but at least the nail is out. I've had to have this done numerous times and I told myself if I had to go through it again I would just have the nail completely removed and fixed so it would never grow back, since then (5 years ago) I haven't had another one. It's like God heard my plea.
chaffing in your toes or athleets foot or just a blister
Just keep an eye on it for the next few days. Make sure your foot gets plenty of fresh air so nothing (like a fungus) is encouraged to grow down there, and don't hesitate to make an appointment with your doctor if it isn't getting better if a few days.
