Sever pain after broken fibula. Pain worse when leg is put down?


Question:
Is it normal that after having foot elevated, when try to walk pain is extrem. i'm wearing a cam boot. Fell happened last saturday while running. Foot also sprained. Swelling has gone down some. Pain not to bad once start walking. Dr. said it's okay to walk as much as I feel comfortable with.

I would personally ask a medical professional to review your pain releif, are you on anything at all at the moment?

If pain releif doesn't work or you have any concerns then seek medical advice and ask them to re-assess
It is normal to have all sorts of aches and pains after fracturing your leg. You can expect this for up to a year.
