Strange headaches...?

Question:
I've been having these weird headaches for years now, and no one seems to know why. It's a sudden pain, like a really quick throbbing in a sort of jagged line on the top right (sometimes the top left) of my head. It's like an instant thing, in that specific jagged line, almost as if someone hit it or something, and then after the initial pain subsides, it throbs for a bit, and my eye (on the corresponding side) will throb also. I don' t know if it's an overloaded vein, or what--but that's what it feels like. Any ideas as to what it may be?

Answers:
Honey this sounds like a Migraine. How long does it last at most? Three days? Do sounds and Light bother you and you feel that the only thing you can do is to lay down in a quiet dark room and wait for it to go away? If this is what it sounds like there are various medications you can try or you can try what I do BEFORE I hit the drugs. I make a strong cup of instant coffee and if it's not going away by the time I'm half way done with the cup then I take two extra strength Exceedrin (not the one for Migraines because it has caffeine in it too) and I don't like to overload on it or I can't sleep at night. But if that doesn't work either then I whip out the big guns and take the perceptions! I've had these headaches since the third grade. If I were you I'd go see your doctor for an eval. just to be on the safe side. None of use here are doctors just armchair docs! There are so many other symptoms that go with Migraines you should look it up. But do see your doctor okay. Take care and God Bless and next time use an ice bag on the point of pain and lay down in a dark room and cover your eyes with a damp wash cloth, you'll feel better.
Migraines for sure. I've had them for years. There are several Rx meds that you can get from your doctor, although not all of them work and sometimes the best ones don't work at all. Good luck to you!
One of the many reason people have headache is too much pressure and short of oxygen around the head. Body toxins causing bad blood circulation and build up pressure around the head and can not bring enough oxygen to the brain. You may have way too much body toxins from the chemical in the food and medicine you ate for years and years; the dirty air does not help either. You need to go see doctors to rule out the medical reason for headache, and go get detoxification massages, detoxify foot bath, and detoxify food program. You can massage the head and face to help circulation ad reduce the pressure and send more oxygen to the brain. Other than toxins, headache can be simply because neck and shoulder muscles too tight due to stress and working condition; it can cause the pressure and short of oxygen also. Massages are the best for tight muscles.
