yes they can! i have had 1 root canal ,and 3 wisdoms pulled. they gave me the worst head aches Ive ever had. take some ibu. it helps...

yeah because the nerves are the close to the brain and thus the pain is more intense than in other places. YOu can have massive headaches due to toothaches.
