Can acupuncture help my back?

Question:
so i am a gymnast and whenever i go to do backwalkovers (bend backwards on one leg and kick over) the pain just kills me! my coach said its not normal for my back to feel that bad, and i know its not just lack of flexibility. im thinking of getting acupuncture done but i need to know if it will help!

Answers:
You should get an x-ray and find out what is
"scrunching" when you bend backwards.
Maybe your coach can help you identify just when <in your back bend> and where <on your back> the problem is. Acupuncture can be great, but if you use it to cover up pain when it comes from a problem that acupuncture may not address, you'll make your back worse.

Try a chiropractor or cranio-sacral practitioner or a regular doctor to diagnose
and get x-rays.

Get better soon and don't do back walkovers until you are better!
You need to be checked out by a doctor. Your coach is right - it is not normal. Acupuncture helped my back, but you shoud follow the advice of a doctor. Do it now before it is too late.
Acupuncture is very effective for back pain. Sure, get it checked out by your doctor.

Acupuncture can help to alleviate your pain and heal the condition.

Give it a try.
