Nail infection or fungus?
most likely you have toenail fungus, see a podiatrist (foot doctor)
Fungus. Especially if they'r getting thick and becoming yellowish in color. You can talk to your doctor about Penlac, which is an external treatment, or about oral Lamisil.
Sounds like that nail fungus...I see commercials for something that cures that but can't remember what it's called...
It could be age or a nail fungus. Seeing your doctor would be best. There is a medicine called lamisil that would help with the fungus but it is a prescription drug.
older people also get thicker nails too=part of life
fungus among us. go to doc, topical treatments may or may not work, the oral meds are expensive, but they work, and it takes about 4-6 mos to work!!
