The male orgasm is based on the fact that its the only way a man would know when to stop. The female orgasm is based solely on the desire for a nice cup of tea/coffee/cigarette, lol

But I would suggest getting a health check from your doctor if it hurts when you orgasm. It could be an STI or something. I really don't think it's meant to hurt or men woulld not be so keen on sex!

I can tell you that the female orgasm is based on pleasure - most of the time. You have to keep in mind that there are people of *both* genders who engage in sado-masochistic acts and derive sexual pleasure from their own pain.
And the ladies think we enjoy it. Its a hell of a job but someone has to do it.

It seems logical that for both sexes, the orgasm is meant to be pleasurable. The man's orgasm is quick to attain because he may only have a small window of opportunity e.g. when the dominant male is chasing off another rival. The female's orgasm is slow, designed to leave her feeling unsatisfied so that she seeks other males to 'finish her off'. This ensures that she is filled with the sperm of *different* males, which allows for 'sperm wars' which weed out the slower 'swimmers'. This is a horrible thought but the laws of nature evolved with no thought for the codes of conduct that man would ultimately try to impose upon his species in an effort to keep the peace.
As man I've never experienced pain on orgasm, only extreme pleasure.
