Pharmacist interview?? Can anyone answer a few questions for a school proj? Thank you!!?
Question:
2. What are a few of the issues with these supplements?
3. What do you think is the nurse’s role in med admin and teaching?
4. How do you think we can reduce med errors in ambulatory and inpatient settings?
Answers:
1) No supplement should be used without consulting your family doctor about interactions with your prescribed medication.
2) People tend to abuse supplements thinking more is better. Sometimes they use supplements that off-set each other or cause a drastic PH change in your body.
3) Nurses should only administer medication that the doctor has prescribed or authorized. As far as teacher go, they are wonderful teachers (most of them), but should never be teaching content that is out of their scope of practice.
4) Go paperless. The paper shuffle is where most of the errors occur.
