Cracking your own back/neck is never a good idea. You can do more harm than good. Although it feels good at that moment how do you know the adjustment made was the right one? Best thing to do is see a Chiropractor. They can make the right adjustments and tell you if you have any type of problems.
true story: In Clearmont Fl there was a husband and wife who were in there home. The wife left the husband in the living room and came back 15 min later and found him dead. This gentleman enjoy the relief he got from cracking his own neck. Long story short...When the autopsy came back it showed he had a broke neck. He actually snapped his own neck cracking it. Need I say more?
don't think so
herniated discs =bulging discs =broken back
I have the same thing done to me, so far as I know it should not do any damage but if you have chronic back pain like I do then you should go to s specialist. But if it doesnt hurt then I think it should be ok.
maybe if she got heavier it would hurt you but i dont see any damage otherwise.
why not just go to a chiropracter, someone whos professional..
I pop my husbands back like that all the time
yes, it can, but im sure it would only be if its repetative over a long period of time. if you dont know what you're doing, you could dislocate discs or fracture/wear them down...
i would be really careful
can cause pain and nerve issues over time as she is not a licensed cracker.
I use to just bend over my bed and things to crack my back and chest plate bones. But a chiropractor showed me how I can cause more damage than good. Even cracking my own neck.
Now I just go 1 or 2 times a month, 10 minutes, $25 a visit and he cracks me all over where I want to be cracked. And it feels soooooooooooooooooooooooo good.
It possibly could. Like one time she could sit on it to hard and injure your back or pop a different bone and do something.
We asked the doctor about this, and popping is just your body releasing air between the joints. It doesn't do anything to affect your body. But if your wife gets heavy, then you probably shouldn't let her sit on your back anymore.
popping is NOT good. it may feel okay but just like when you crack your knuckles it leads to arthritis later on
maybe you should just try exercising, it helps a lot especially at night after work, it keeps you refreshed and it is natural to feel like that during bedtime, becuase the body expands while sleeping
Yes this could do damage because the popping sound you hear is the fluids in your back being released. That fluid is there to cushion and protect your bones so over time they will grind against each other and this will cause them to break down. How much your wife weighs is irrelavant, the point is that your back will get damaged over time.
Well ...u may have chances of getting back pain in future....U can have a massage or something like that but don't put any thing on ur back....
sounds like she is getting the job done and for free, good deal, but when it comes to the spine better to see a pro.
