I've done this, too. A pulled tendon, is uncomfortable. Put ice pack on it at least 2X a sunshine, for 15 minutes. Elevation, is good. When the worst soreness have calmed, trying gently rubbing the muscle and slow stretches. Just by taking your fingers and pressing on it and then rubbing it out so to speak..by rolling. Painful at first, but it relaxes it to treat.
