Sounds like it was the Jalapeno. You probably had open cuts on your hand. This same question was asked a few days ago. All you can do is wait until it wears off. In the meantime, keep dousing your hands will cold water. If it doesn't wear off in a day or so, go to the doctor. Maybe, from now on, everyone should wear gloves while cutting jalapeno.
Just keep submurging them in water. If it doesn't stop by tomorrow, seek medical attention.
Go and see a doctor.
go to the doctor! that could be serious!!
definitely allergies
Ask if there is a doctor in the house
No but i would get to an effing doctor! don't screw around with your hands man! you need them! it could be an alergic reaction, or something more seriouse!
I too had like this but it got solved by itself without doing anything
omg, a bad sign that death is near...
Call the ER
consult your doctor.
this sounds like a nerve disorder, i am a docter, unless i saw your hand i wouldnt be able to provide a diagnosis, call a near hospital and ask if it would be nessary to come in.
could be allergies
could be hotter peppers than usual
could be Reyes Syndrome
could be poison ivy or something like that touched the peppers
have you been exposed to some chemical.YOU NEED TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY DEPT NOW, take a bowl of ice water with ya for the trip. GO!
second thought....if this is true, how did you type this question...did you just pull a fast one on us.
No, I don't know what it is (and I am a nurse) but I know exactly what you are talking about. Neither does my doctor know what it is. It will gradually diminish over a couple of days. Unfortunately, it will be back (almost a year between episodes for me). Sorry you are hurting. I have found that nothing really helps a lot, like aspirin or other pain relievers. It does help to know it won't last all that long.
this may not work, depends what your issue is, bt seeing as you dont have much choice, try putting your hands in milk. Its low Ph levels may counter-act the high Ph levels from the acid in the peppers. Soak them in the boal if needs be, but for god sake keep your hands away from your face and your groin until this stinging has gone!
THE JALAPENOS MUST OF MADE AN EFFECT IN YOU HANDS WITCH MEANS YOU MUST OF HAD CUTS IN YOUR HANDS OR DRIED SKIN! DONT TOUCH YOUR EYES OR GENETAL AREAS! WASH YOUR HANDS WITH COLD WATER AND SOAP!PLENTY OF SOAP! OR IF THAT DOESNT WORK USE OXYGEN WATER!! OR GO TO EXTREME MESUREMENTS, USE RUBBING ALCOHOL! THE HOTNESS OF THE PEPPER MUST OF MADE AN EFFECT IN YOUR HAND! VIVA MEXICO!!
You really need a good doctor to solve your problem.
are your hands just dry? hot pepper juice hurts like hell on dry skin. use polysporin instead of hand cream or vasiline. it is antibacterial and has aloe to soothe
Talk to your doctor.
