Answers:
I get headaches before my period too, mine are usually the day before. I usually drink a lot of water, take Excedrine migraine, or tylenol rapid release gels, and rest until it goes away. If it's a day where I don't have time to rest I just make sure I take a water with me where ever I go, have some extra meds with me, and bear down and get through the day. It probably wouldn't hurt if you mentioned it to your gynocologist. I don't think there's too much that can do for people like us because unfortunately the headaches are normal, but maybe she can change up your birth control pill or something and see if that helps.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I hope this works a little. :-)
Whenever a headache strikes drink lots of water .Lack of oxygen may have lead to your headache. Place a few ice-cubes in a polythene bag, and apply this on the forehead and temples. Check out http://useinfo-headache.blogspot.com/... for more info
I just went through health class and bad headaches are one of the effects my teacher said if you're around that day once a month where you can get pregnant. sorry to here that, and sorry that I cant help, I dont know too much about that stuff.

If I wear this wig, will I have that too?..
I was going to tell you exactly what bunnywithbugs told you.
It could be a long term side-effect from the pills. It could also be PMDD. It's a disorder of some sort. I remember hearing about it a few months ago. Check this out. It should have some good information for you.

I get migraines and I always get them before my period. I have to take imitrex, none of the over counter stuff works for me. Excedrin migraine gives me the shakes and makes me nauseaus.
Imitrex is my wonder drug.
maybe try talking to a doctor
Usually headaches before your period are due to hormonal changes. Eventhough you are on birth control, they are probably not the correct one for you. I would definately talk to my GYN and let her know of these headaches. She should be able to prescribe something that might work better for your body needs.
Not a problem for me and I'm not on the pill...guys don't do that, not the guys I know anyway.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
As the problem is during period it is due to harmonic imbalance. Treat it with acupuncture and observe.
TRY JUICE/SPROUT/COCOANUT WATER/SALAD fasting during periods.
For such problems doctors can hardly help. You need to be rather innovative.
