Blister protection in pool?

Question:
I always get a blister when I swim for more than 2 days in a row in a pool, and now that I finally have my own, I'm going to use it alot. I just got a blister on my big toe, and it already popped (ouch). I'm going swimming today with my gf, but the blister is still pretty painful. Band-Aids will protect it and stop any irritation, but that will fall off in the water. What are some other things I can do to protect my blister from getting any worse; keeping in mind that it needs to sustain water.

Answers:
nexcare makes really good waterproof bandaids. they cost a little more but as long as it is applied to dry skin, boy do they stick!! nexcare is made by 3m, the tape and sticky note people, so their adhesive is really awesome.

there is even a coupon!

also, you can try wearing something like this while in your pool...my mom was crazy about germs for a while, and made us wear them at a public pool: http://www.amazon.com/rafters-orlando-wa...
try wearing watershoes. we had to make our daughter wear them and her toes are much better now.
