Constipation?
Question:
I quit smoking 4 months ago and since quitting I have had a hard time going to the bathroom. I used to go about 4 times a day which was a lot but at least more normal then not at all. My question is what can I do to become more regular again that isn't a pain to keep up with. Something easy and helpful would be great, oh yeah, that works!!
Answers:
If you are a healthy individual then really what you need is more fiber in your diet and water. (If your taking any medications sometimes that is part of the side affect (pain pills for example). 100% whole wheat pasta (it must be 100%!), fruits high in fiber like, PRUNES (but not banana's...banana's do the opposite, they will constipate you!) Apple juice will also help you...(But NOT APPLE SAUCE! That assists in constipation.) If your eating meat and white starchy bread I suggest you cut back. Eat more fruits, veggies and whole grain products (instead of white bread). It's the fiber that will cure your problem...and drinking water.
Hope this helps!
try products by digestive advantage. they really help.
try activia. the yogurt. it really helps from the stress of shows.
Eat sugar free peppermint patties. You'll poop yourself in an hour. Four will be enough.
