The Appendix is on the lower corner of the right side of your abdomen. And yes- it will hurt if you pushi t there if it is inflammed.
HOWEVER, the pain might be all across the top of your abdomen as well (when not touched at the appendix spot.)
I had real bad appendicitis and it hurts all over the top under the ribcage.
Your pain may or may not be appendicitis BUT... that much pain - regardless of what it is. GO TO THE DOCTOR NOW!
the appendix is located on the lower right side of your abdomen. If its inflamed, you will feel MASSIVE pain on that side that reaches into the middle of the abdomen. You will also probably have a fever and be sick to your stomach.
Either way, if youre in that much pain, you should seek medical attention
Appendicitis is also known for "rebound" pain. If you push in sharply on the right side of your abdomen, it will hurt. BUT if you quickly withdraw your hand, the rebound hurts much worse in most cases of appendicitis. If you are in a lot of pain, please go seek medical attention.
lower right around the hip bone... should feel tender and when touched should cause excruciating pain... GO TO THE HOSPITAL ASAP! they can do tests (range from blood tests to cat scans) and if surgery is necessary they can preform it. i had my appendix out 3 years ago... dont wait until you vomit... that means your appendix probably ruptured and that would require a very large and painful surgery. if they catch appendicitis in time, they can preform a laproscopy (3 small incisions). it heals quickly and is much less invasive. so go to the hospital!!!! NOW!!
