you can have it done on the NHS!! my brother had sinus problems and a self confidence issue - when you go into the surgery make sure you have a sympaphetic doctor explain how its effecting your every day life - say your pushing friends away because you dont want to leave the house because you feel your always being stared at...you'll be shaved down in no(se) time at all!!promise!!
I had exactly the same problem but went last year and had a nose job best thing I ever done. If you can't afford it go to your doctor and explain about how you feel and maybe they will get it fixed for you. My son is having his done on NHS next month. They would never do mine for me but I think I never kicked up enough or went often enough to tell them how I felt. People used to mention it everywhere I went until I stopped going out because of it. I know people are just ignorant and don't realize how much they hurt us.
you have to go through your gp and convince him it is affecting you physcologically but yes it can be done, my daughter could only breathe through one side and also used to get a lot of runny nose problems and she had a cat scan which revealed a rare condition, she was born without a hole at the top, after an operation to create a hole she was a lot better, so you could have two problems not connected so it may be worth getting both checked out.
