I have a lump on my foot?

Question:
It's on the top of my right foot but it's under the skin(not a skin cancer right??).it's hard as a bone, rounded and growing like daily but it doesn't hurt that much .
what could it be?

I'm checking with my doctor after 5 days;I have exams.

Answers:
The most common cause of a lump on the foot is a ganglion cyst. Waiting 5 days is not going to have any impact so please don't worry about the delay.

Ganglion cysts have a tendency to fluctuate in size and are frequently found on the top of the foot. They usually form after an injury (you might not even remember the injury). There are several methods of treatment and your doctor or podiatrist will decide which it the bet for you.

Even if it isn't a ganglion cyst, chances are that is benign and nothing to worry about. However, it is still best to have it diagnosed and treated since it will interfere with the wearing of shoes. So, please see your doctor as planned.
