Regarding arch support for feet?

Question:
Just about any shoe I wear doesn't provide enough arch support and those insert things are so thick overall that they make the shoes too tight. Is there something on the market that, like, you can stick to the bottom of your foot IN your arch and arch only that would provide arch support? Hopefully it would be something that you could wear with flip flops and stuff without being noticeable.
Thanks.

Wow. I'm thinking that No one makes anything like that and it would be a great idea. Let me know when you make your 1st. million. I'd sure buy them. Good Luck, and I'm totally serious about what I just said.
First, if you are having problems then you should NEVER wear flip-flops. They are bad for your feet.

I have had to get orthotics for my feet. Then I tear out the lining on any shoes I wear, and put in the orthotics.

I would recommend seeing a foot doctor (podiatrist) as foot problems can be the start of other problems. I found that if I hadn't gotten the orthotics, I would have gotten so bad I couldn't even stand in the shower without shoes.

As it is, I can't even walk around bare foot without hurting my feet.
I agree with the above poster, flip flops should not be worn. Furthermore, why is it you need arch supports? As for why I asked why you needed more support, it's because people with flat feet may need as much arch support as someone with a high arch.
I have flat feet and I know Keds have pretty high arch support already, because I can not wear them. Try a Podiatry expert store, I'm sure they could custom make something for you.
