Over the last month, I've noticed a darkening in the tips of my nails?

Question:
It has happened to both finger and toe nails. I cut them off, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Could it be a fungal infection or something else?

Answers:
A good way to decide if it is a fungus is if it has spread to every nail. A isolated infection will not spread to every fingernail and toenail so if it is a fungus every finger will have it because they touch each other a lot. There are so many things that are suggested to get rid of the fungus or to "kill" it but some of the ones that i know to work are:

Fresh Air
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hot Water

All 3 of those will help fight the fungus, another thing you can do is intake a decent amount of Vitamin C to boost your immune system. There are plenty of creams out there that will also help once you cut the nail as far as you can, speak to the pharmacist at your local Walgreens or CVS and ask what they have on hand. If it gets worst and worst its time to go to the doctor. Good luck and check out the site in my sources for a detailed description of some of the remedies that i listed.
