I just had my blood taken and i didnt apply enough pressure so its swelling, whats going to happen to my arm?
Question:
? and What steps should I take to Prevent any further Problem(s)?
Answers:
The swelling is blood leaking from your vein, into your skin. Just apply pressure again. You will have a spectacular bruise in the bend of the elbow and can tell everyone that you are a junky, but not a very good one - lol.
as for preventing future problems - just apply pressure for 5 minutes the next time you have to have blood drawn and you will be fine.
That has nothing to do with how much pressure you applied., That is the fault of the person who took your blood. Keep the arm elevated and put an ice pack on the area. You may develop a black and blue to the area as well.
Put a bandage on it and forget about it. You'll live!!
nothing is going to happen to your arm except you may get a bruise from not applying enough pressure after they drew your blood.
Nothing will happen, it'll just bruise. Haven't you ever had a blood test before?
u will chances are loose the arm just below the arm pit; next time do not let a doctor draw the blood -- they are the worst at giving shots and taking blood. best thing is to rub a little dirt on it and drink about three glasses of red wine and you will be 1005 tomorrow.
you are fine. Nothing is going to happen to you.
