Are there any other users on YouQA.com who are currently injured? Wearing a cast or brace?

Question:

I'm tired of not being able to do anything since my accident. Anyone want to talk about their injuries or send pictures of themselves back and forth and compare injuries?

I have chronic ankle instability and am going in for surgery in 2 weeks. I am up and walking now, but I can't do any exercising or excessive walking. After the surgery, I will be on crutches for 6-12 weeks and have a cast. UGH!

I hate casts. But here is something that might make you smile. I had ACL surgery a few years ago and was in a cast for 4 weeks. The inside of my cast itched sooo bad! So I took a butter knife to itch my leg and I dropped the knife inside my cast. I couldn't get it out. When the doc cut the cast off my leg, there was the butter knife. I was a bit embarrassed.

Nothing major, I have whiplash ... don't wear the brace, it's too unconfortable.

I have a sprained ankle which I keep walking on and reinjuring. I have a brace for it, but I only wear it when I have to walk for long periods of time because it's uncomfortable.
