My husband may have hurt his lower back, and its getting worse.?

Question:
okay so we are studying in a crappy country, my husband works out but not on the weekends, on monday his lower back..(right where his buttcrack starts) started hurting ALOT and its been getting worse, we went to the hospital the idiot said its nothing, he went to bed woke up and can hardly walk. i looked at it and the area is swollen and red.. any ideas?

Answers:
This sounds like a major problem. If he can hardly walk, it's either probably a muscle or a skeletal problem. He could have injured a muscle (tylonal, ice packs, and rest would help) or he could have herniated a disc in his spine (it sounds a lot like this is the case) (anti-inflammatory meds may help, but often surgery is the only true fix).
Any chiropractors in the area, or x ray machines? Find one fast cause it sounds abnormal.
I am quite familiar with Chiropractors, they are different then medical doctors. Doctors study the flesh and such. Chiropractors study the bones. You may be surprised what relief he will receive. A back bone that is out of alinement can pinch a nerve and render you motionless and full of much pain. Cool 64.
Has he got some sort of injury. If not Take quarter cup of mustard oil put four cloves of garlic cook it until the garlic burns out. Apply to the effected area when when it is bearable hot. Apply with your palms open from upward to the downward with putting much pressure just a mild pressure for five minuted. Keep the body covered after massage. repeat it twice in a day. he will be OK.
