How long does it take for an ear infection to go away?

Question:
I went to the doctors on tuesday afternoon they gave me antibotics.. my ear isn't hurting anymore just feels plugged.

Answers:
Pain would have subsided due to pain killers. The fluid inside your middle ear cavity will have to drain before you will be able to hear normally. If you keep chewing bubble gums a couple of hours a day your eustachean tube will do the job for you real quick. If the blocked ear does not get relieved within a week you may have to go in for myringotomy a surgical procedure which helps to drain your middle ear.
a week, it always took a week for mines to heal
SSSEEEVVVEEENNN dayS!
One to two weeks with proper treatment.
48 hours after u start antibiotics, but the plugged feelin will take a little longer 4/5 days tc
