I fractured my ribs back in March and occasionally they still feel sore?

Question:
They do seem to have healed up and I have very little bother with them now but sometimes when I turn over in bed or lie on them they feel sore.

Answers:
any bones that you break or fracture will always feel sore to an extent, i broke my collar bone about 26 years ago and still get a wee niggle now and again.
just remember your rib has been stressed but will settle down.
however if it is at the extent where it is causing you severe discompfort then perhaps a vist to you doctor to ease your mind is an option
Ribs never fully heal, in fact, sometimes never heal at all. If you are still worried, go see a doctor and seek their advice.
6 months minimum for healing to be complete.
hi,
when my mum had a accident she done the same thing, even after a couple of years she still has trouble with her ribs, not all the time but every now and then.
I broke a bone in my foot over 6 years ago and every now and then it gets really painful and I have to keep my foot straight, so you may find that you will always feel some sort of discomfort for example in the cold you may feel some pain.
Thats normal and I think you can expect that for ever now... I injured my knee 4 years ago and have 6 month of physio and it will never be the same again... I can still play sports but I am aware of my knee
I did the same 6 years ago and they still give me bother now and again, they never go back to the way they were.
