Hi there. No, chocolate is not bad for you, so, keep doing it if you want to. The issue with chocolate is that lots of people have got reactions to it, as it is quite a complex mixture of chemicals. For some people, they get spots or put on weight due to the high sugar content. For others, they may get aggressive or nervous, or they find they cannot sleep, due to the high caffeine content. Milk chocolate, particularly white chocolate, can be a cholestral issue for some people. However, if none of this affects you, i.e., you do not suffer from these various reactions, then keep going. A small amount of chocolate is actually good for you - particularly if it has a high cocoa content. However, I wonder if you have gotten your bodyclock into a certain rhythm so are automatically waking up for your "fix". Too much chocolate is not good.
