i smoked for over 20 years and stopped smoking using chantix only thing that ever worked for me
Contact your physician and request a prescription to Chantix. There is a 30 day and 90 day program. It is a nicotine inhibitor and makes cigarettes taste horrible. It works great. Try it...
ive never smoked but hear me out!...i have ocd, so its hard for me to break even a regular habit. my suggestion is simply this. caffiene addiction. caffiene addiction will override your nicotene addiction and once your done, its easy to break. every time you want a cigarette drink a mt dew or coffee instead (recommend mt dew , because it will form a less severe , easier to break , addiction)...you will lose your addiction easier than if you handt traded it for another addiction. the difference is the kind of addiction you will get as a result, can be dissipated in a single week.
Lots of oranges,5 a day and vitamin c.Wear a clean, white t-shirt,exercise,you will sweat the nicotine out of your body.Buy a brand of cigarettes you don't particularly like or start out smoking a whole pack in one day, then next day decrease by one cigarette and throw the last one away.Buy a pack every day and smoke one less everyday, throwing the extras away, when you are down to one quit,or you could just try the patches.
The nicotine patch worked very well for me,did not even crave a cigerette.Do the whole three stages, and don't smoke anything.George

This stuff works.
Keep yourself busy with a new hobby. Also, exercise a lot. It will get your body producing good feeling endorphines and take your mind off smoking.
