So, let's just say that I have a small case of hemmrohids. All the symtpoms match, and from what I can tell, they even look like the pictures that I have seen on the web. Now, I went and got some Prep H Wipes, and I used one, not very much releif. I did find temporary releif in a hot bath for about a half an hour, but I cant lay in there all day. So, today is just day 4, maybe 5, that I have noticed them. Not very painful, just I can tell its there, and I would like for it to go away. So, how long does it take to naturally heal itself? What can i do, besides the obvious Prep H (which I think the wipes are the same, correct? If not, please let me know that as well.) Also, when I have a bowel movement, it hurts more, but there is no bleeding. So, anyone, please help me with any information that can ease my want for this to go away. Thanks so much.

This all depends on the person and whether or not you have internal or external hemroids. They can take a few weeks to heal, but the swelling of your veins in your anus causes them. Anti-inflammatories (advil, motrin, aleve) might help but warm baths do too. Email me if you have any more personal questions.
Sorry Tiger - hemmorhoids don't go away. They just hang around being annoying- sometimes bleeding and hurting, and sometimes not.
the best thing to do is to stay regular, and soft. and if you need to take metamucel to do that then chug away. Grapes taste better, as do oranges, grapefruit, or just about any fruit. Fiber is the key.
if you have hemmorhoids that hang out and don't go back in, then you might want to see a doctor about having them removed. It isn't alot of fun, but it does get rid of them.
They don't go away by themselves. The ointment is much better than the wipes to shrink them when they become irritated. Your diet will dictate the magnitude of the irritation. Avoid spicy foods and stay regular.
