Drinking water at room temperature is better for you because ice-cold water can harm the delicate lining of your stomach. Have you ever spilt cold water on the hob when cooking?! Your stomach is warm and it would get shocked by the cold water - possibly resulting in a stomach cramp.

I have heard that it is better to have a hot drink with your meal, not ice-cold water. It is nice to have a cup of cold water after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and may lead to cancer. It is therefore best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
Room temp. I know that singers drink room temp because it affects their vocal chords ability if it is too cold.
I've always been led to believe that room tempretaure or slightly chilled water is better for you, really cold water can give you a stomach ache on a hot day.
if you drink ice cold than you body has to work to bring to body temp.so room temp would be better.
Room temperature is better. Or if you are feeling a bit sick, slightly warm water (body temperature). Cold water will make the stomach recoil and cramp, making you feel worse!
the body maintains temperatures in all areas inside the body, its actually quite important to the body.

If your trying to loose weight, ice cold water is best.

As your body has to work harder to warm it up, thus using more calories.

For me is better the room temperature because if in dry and hot climate, after we drink cold ice water still felt same as before we drink the ice
well i heard that ice cold water can help you loose weight because it cools your internal temperature so your body has to work at increasing the temperature back to normal!!

Ice cold water is not recommended.
Water before consumption should be boiled to 100 degree celsius.
This helps in making it microbe-free.
This boiled water should be consumed when it is like warm.
That is the best for our bodies.
Preferably 8 to 10 glasses of water/day is recommended.

room temperture is better for u, i think its not a shock wen it does in n ur body wud then have 2 wrk 2 get it the same temperture.
i take it that you drink ice water when you are hot,by doing that your body has to work harder to bring fluid up to body temperature hence more sweat,therefore room temp to replace fluids and buy a fan.
