What medical investigation could help you treat your sleep problems?

Question:
i need badly sleep at 9pm and at 3 am i am half wake

Answers:
Ask your doctor for a referral to a sleep center for a sleep study. I had been having the same problem with sleep. I got a sleep study and found I was having 27 episodes per hour of breathing irregularity. Sometimes I would awake during the night with a jerk. I found out that was my heart jump starting my breathing back. Was I ever shocked! I now sleep with a device that assist my breathing at night. I am no longer sleepy during the day and I wake up refreshed each morning after sleeping through the entire night. My headaches are also gone. I am like a new person. You should check it out.
There are sleep clinics that monitor you while you sleep to establish if therre is a reason, such as sleep apnea.
Ask the Dr. about getting you into one.
Have your doctor schedule you for a Polysomnogram Sleep Test.
You will be in a sleep lab where they will hook you up to about 24 electrodes and monitor your sleep for a night. It's a very simple test, if your having problems falling asleep the Doctor may prescribe a sleeping pill to assist you in getting to sleep.
Hope this helps.
