Is cracking your joints really bad for you?

Question:
I crack every joint I can. I don't know why, but it just makes my body feel better when I do. :] I've heard about how it can damage your body, etc. , but is that really true?

Answers:
It is a common myth that parents use to stop kids cracking their knuckles. But there is NO negative consequences. Irregardless of what other people answering this question say.

There's no harmful effects unless you're doing it and it actually hurts. Then you should stop.

It's basically a release of gas that sounds like a crack but really isn't. Read this article from wikipedia>>>

i crack everything and anything toooo--i actually asked my doctor about it and he said it was fine :D
Yes, it does damage to your body. The crack that you hear is the bursting of the air pockets between your joints... Continuous cracking of one joint can cause enlargement of the joint and painfulness in the future.
