I am a 35 year old mannish. I am not overweight but havn't exercised for quite sometime. I used to be contained by really good shape, running and adjectives sorts of cardio, until I left the Military 12 years ago. Yes I smoke and I do drink. I don't consume alcohol everyday, perchance twice a week, but when I do it is definately over indulgence. Lately I can't get a upright nights sleep for zilch. It keeps my wife up, how heaps times I flip from stomach to one side or the other (I try to sleep on my back but snore). The ultimate few day's I wake up sweating and my wife tell me I am burning up. By morning time the sweating has stopped. Should I be concerned or a moment ago do the obvious, exercise, and quit drinking and smoking?
Answers: Be concerned. Waking up surrounded by a sweat is not normal for out-of-shape individuals. Have your heart checked with an EKG, because the heart and lungs are interrelated systems. Some heart problems (like Congestive Heart Failure) are worse when you're lying down.
And yes, quit smoking. Smoking is probably the single worst point you can do to your body -- far worse than moderate drinking.
i'd go contained by for a check up and talk to the Dr. something like it if i were you....could be symptoms of a problem
